Titebond Acoustical Smoke and Sound Sealant is a latex-based, non-flammable sealant designed to reduce sound transmission in wall partitions systems. GREENchoice Acoustical Smoke and Sound Sealant remains flexible and sticks firmly to wood, metal studs, concrete, drywall, and most other building materials. The uniquely designed formula is prevents drying, hardening, staining, and prevents migrating making it easy to work with. The acoustical sealant is also mold and mildew-resistant. The sealant is used for unexposed purposes at perimeter joints, floor and ceiling runners, cutouts in drywall, veneer plaster systems, and other areas where a sound rated construction is needed.
