Timothy's Toolbox is a family-owned business that was established in 2017 with the goal of providing industry-leading products and manufacturers at the most affordable prices. Born from a small surplus operation serving local contractors in the Atlanta, GA area, we’ve grown into one of the leading online suppliers of drywall tools, safety gear, acoustical supplies, and soundproofing materials nationwide.
Through that growth, we’ve stayed true to the values we started with—humility, honest pricing, and personal service rooted in community. What began as a few local orders from the garage has evolved into a full-scale operation, but we still carry the same mindset that launched us: treat every customer like family, and never forget where we started.
The name “Timothy” carries deeper meaning as well. Derived from the Greek name Timotheos, it means “honoring God”—a fitting symbol for our values of trust, integrity, and service. In ancient Greek, the root word timē was also used in commerce to refer to the value or price of goods, linking the name naturally to fair dealing and honest business—principles we stand by every day.
