The TexMaster Magic Trowel Knockdown Drywall Texture Knife Set has long been one of the most popular ways for professionals and do-it-yourselfers to create perfect knockdown textures. The squeegee-like blades easily float over the drywall texture, and give a smooth, even surface without chatter marks that are often associated with metal knockdown knife blades. The handle end is hollow, and allows you to use a broomstick end or other extension for reaching high ceilings and walls. 

Always be sure to wet the magic trowel before using. It is best to knock down the texture going the same direction in which it was rolled on. Also note that to achieve a uniform knock down finish, always go across the framework (studs, and ceiling rafters) behind the drywall surface.
