RectorSeal Smoke and Acoustic Sealant is a high-grade acrylic latex sealant designed for interior smoke and sound control in non-fire-rated assemblies. This 20.2 oz white foil pack, product code 66652, is used to permanently seal penetrations, membrane openings, and static or dynamic joints where smoke passage and sound transfer need to be reduced.

This smoke and acoustic sealant can be installed around pipes, conduit, electrical cables, ventilation ducts, electrical boxes, outlet boxes, head-of-wall joints, bottom-of-wall joints, wall-to-wall joints, and other through or membrane penetrations in walls or floors.

Limitations

RectorSeal Smoke and Acoustic Sealant is not designed for use in fire-rated assemblies, submerged conditions, or continuously wet conditions. It should not be applied to uninsulated surfaces that exceed 120°F.
