Rectorseal Metacaulk 9" x 9" Fire Rated Putty Pad
The Rectorseal Metacaulk 9" x 9" Fire Rated Putty Pad is a one-component, fireproof putty pad designed for electrical boxes, conduit, and through-penetration firestop systems. This non-curing, moldable pad intumesces when heated, forming an insulating char that blocks the spread of flames, smoke, gas, and water.
With a tested fire rating of up to 3 hours and a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 60, these fire pads for electrical boxes ensure compliance with building codes while adding critical protection to rated assemblies.
