Laco TG600 Hand Pump Drywall Texture Gun

Recommended by the Drywall Tech on YouTube, and I do enough textured repairs to make it worth it. The entire construction felt sturdy, and I am very pleased by how it works and disassembles for cleaning. To be fair, I haven't used it yet, but I can see how it works and am looking forward to doing so.

Take your time getting the mix right for your mud, that's the most important part. The adjustment on the nozzle is very touchy, so get a big piece of plastic to do a bit of spray pattern testing before you start. This thing will pay for itself in the first few jobs if you're buying cans for pickup work.

In the late 80's I used the precursor to this product that was all brass and could only be leased. Fantastic tool and nothing like it. With my own company for 18 yrs., we always used a hopper and compressor. Now, I'm working as a handyman and the jobs are so small, I resorted to the canned textures ... all crap. So I thought I'd give this tool a try and bought the one used with a small compressor. Worked fine but not for small jobs. I returned it in pristine condition to Timothy's and then purchased the pump. Used it twice, once for a couple of ceiling patches where it worked great and the second time for 50 sq. ft. of drywall, ceiling and wall patches. The second time I got the thickness of the spray mud right and was able to match the orange peel perfectly the first spray. No need for a second pass. I could not believe it. The adjustment and pressure is a bit touchy but once you get it - the spray comes out great. Thank you very much.

a light and very useful tool

On a job a while ago the best texture guy I have ever met used the larger one of these and I knew I wanted to get the laco. He explained the ease of use and for using one for the first time it was easy to se with a few things to figure out. I appreciated the ability to fine tune the thickness of the texture and how easy it was to clean. I look forward to using this in the future!

Took a little while to figure out how to get it to spray but it works good

Haven’t used it yet but feels like it could be quality. Beyond that don’t know how well it works.

This texture sprayer has been an amazing purchase for my handyman business. It is well built, cleans up easy after use and allows me to match most textures I run across when doing small patches. So glad I ran across this tool.

Great for small repair jobs, don't have to drag out the big hopper and compressor or use expensive spray can stuff. Works great. Was glad to see it was made in the USA!

I used the Red Tail Texture Sprayer for years. This one works just as good and has a much better price. I don't feel like I broke the bank for a portable texture sprayer. Arrived in 2 days. Great experience.
