asgard-12-inch-power-assist-finishing-box
Asgard 12-inch Power Assist Finishing Box

The Asgard 12-inch POWER ASSIST Finishing Box applies finish coats of joint compound to flat seams and butt joints with a spring-assisted pressure-plate design. Reverse springs help dispense joint compound with 50 percent less operating effort than Asgard Classic or MAXXBOX boxes, reducing the force the finisher must put into each pass. The wider 12-inch pass helps blend the joint into the surrounding drywall and supports wider skim applications.

The high-capacity body holds up to twice the usable compound of an Asgard Classic box, allowing longer runs between trips to the loading pump. An adjustable crown dial controls the compound left over the joint, and the finishing blade feathers both edges for a consistent transition into the surrounding board.

Anodized aluminum components and quick-release thumb latches support daily use and cleanup. Load the box from a compound pump through a filler adapter, then connect it to an Asgard or compatible major-brand flat-box handle.

Asgard offers a more affordable spring-assisted option for professional drywall crews that want capacity and reduced box-operating effort in the same automatic finishing tool.

Key Features

Application: Applies finish coats to flat seams and butt joints

Working width: 12 in for wider finish and skim passes

Spring-assisted dispensing: Reduces the force needed to apply compound

Finish control: Adjustable crown dial controls the compound left over the joint

Handle connection: Universal-style attachment designed to fit most major flat-box handles

How It Works

Spring arms connect the pressure plate to the box mechanism.
