The Rectorseal Metacaulk Smoke and Sound Sausage Sealant 20oz. 66656 is a high-quality sealant compound designed for use in non-fire-rated penetrations and joints. This latex-based sealant is essential for achieving and maintaining the required Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating for airborne sound, as well as preventing the passage of smoke and toxic gases in smoke barrier partitions, as required by the International Building Code (IBC). The sealant compound has been tested in accordance with various industry standards, such as ASTM E90, ASTM E84, ASTM C834, ASTM C919, and ASTM G21, to ensure its performance and reliability.
